Can the PVC piping be cut prior to the competition? Driving 10' of PVC pipe in a car is difficult. Same question applies to 2" x 4" lumber.

The rules state that these materials cannot be altered, but for safety reasons and for reasons of not renting a vehicle capable of transporting these items, piping and lumber may be cut in half from the size that is sold in stores.  No more should be cut.
